Headshots AI

How it works

Get a professional headshot in three simple steps — no studio, no photographer, no hassle.

Step 01

Upload your photos

Upload 1–4 clear, front-facing photos. While one works, three or four gives the AI more context to get your likeness spot on. Standard phone photos are perfect.

Pro tip: The AI is remarkably faithful to your current look. Accessories like earrings, necklaces, or glasses, as well as your hair and makeup, will usually carry through to the final result. To get the best outcome, match your styling in these photos to the professional look you're aiming for.

Step 02

Describe your style

Tell us the "vibe." You can be specific (e.g., "charcoal suit, soft-focus botanic garden") or keep it simple (e.g., "modern professional"). You can also upload a reference photo for clothing or pick a preset background.

Step 03

Preview and download

Your headshot will be ready in about 60–90 seconds. You'll see a watermarked preview first. If you're stoked with the result, unlock the full-resolution, watermark-free version for $9.99.

Why the results look professional

Most AI image tools are general-purpose — they'll generate anything, but they're not optimised for any one thing. We've built and tuned a generation pipeline specifically for professional headshots: custom lighting logic, colour temperature calibration, and a likeness-preservation system that keeps your facial features consistent across styles. The result is output that holds up next to studio photography — at a fraction of the cost and effort.

It's also why the quality of your source photos matters. Our pipeline does a lot of heavy lifting, but it works best when it has sharp, well-lit reference material to start from.

Tips for the best results

The AI is only as good as the data you give it. For a result that actually looks like you, follow these rules:

Do

Face the camera: Keep your eyes level and look directly at the lens.
Use natural light: Soft, even lighting on your face is best.
Keep it simple: A plain background helps the AI focus on you.
Pre-style: Wear the earrings, makeup, or hairstyle you want to see in the final output.

Avoid

Obstructions: No sunglasses, hats, or hands near your face.
Crowds: No group photos or "cropping yourself out" of a party shot.
Filters: Avoid heavy "beauty" filters or extreme angles.
Low quality: If it's blurry or pixelated, the output will be too.

Preview vs full resolution

Free watermarked preview

Every generation includes a free preview. Signed-in users get 5 free attempts; guests get 1.

Full resolution — $9.99

Once you're happy, purchase the high-res version. It's sharp enough for print and perfectly formatted for LinkedIn, CVs, or company “About Us” pages.

Common questions

How many photos should I upload?

Three to four is the sweet spot. Use photos from slightly different angles to help the AI understand the structure of your face.

What if I don't like the result?

You only pay if you want the high-res file. If the preview isn't quite right, tweak your description or try different source photos.

Do I need an account?

No, you can do a one-off as a guest. However, a free account gives you 5 previews instead of 1 and keeps your history saved so you can download them later.

How long does it take?

Usually 60–90 seconds. It's crunching a lot of data to match your style and render a high-quality image. The page will refresh automatically when it's done.

What happens to my photos?

We value your privacy. Your uploads are used only to generate your headshot and are deleted immediately after. We don't train our models on your face or sell your data.

Can I use a product image from a retailer website as a clothing reference?

Yes — this is one of the most useful ways to specify what you want to wear. Browse any retailer (ASOS, Zara, M&S, John Lewis, etc.), find the item, then right-click the product photo and choose "Copy image address" or "Copy image URL". Paste that into the clothing URL field and we'll extract the garment details automatically. One common mistake: do not paste the page URL (the one in your browser's address bar) — that's the product page, not the image itself. The image URL is different — it's the direct address of the photo file and usually ends in .jpg, .webp, or .png. On most sites you can find it by right-clicking directly on the product photo. We use the image only to read the clothing details and never store it.
